Auto-Graphics renews their contract into 2020 with the Department of Public Instruction, Wisconsin
ONTARIO, CA (June 7, 2019) – Auto-Graphics, Inc., provider of the first Web-based library resource management solution to library consortia and innovative developer of many resource sharing industry “firsts”, announces that its cloud-based resource sharing solution, SHAREit, has been awarded a sole source letter for 2019-2020 from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. This contract award will extend the current partnership with WDPI to over 20 years of AG providing advanced ILL services to their staff and patrons.
SHAREit will continue to seamlessly link their extensive 1200 multi-type library system that includes schools, publics, academics, and special libraries. Wisconsin’s unique system presents challenges to any resource sharing company due to the varied size and scope of the state of
Wisconsin. The state currently employs a hybrid model using both a virtual and physical union database, as well as utilizes ISO (10160/10161) standard and NCIP with member ILS systems. The current system supports over 7 million titles and over 30 million holdings.
