The Middlebury Public Library Selects VERSO Express
Mobile capabilities and powerful, modern OPAC search features will improve patron experience
ONTARIO, CA. — June 26, 2014 — Auto-Graphics proudly announces that the Middlebury Public Library has selected Auto-Graphics’ VERSO Express. The Middlebury Public Library is migrating from Bibliomation’s Evergreen ILS.
“Selecting VERSO Express made sense for the Middlebury Library because it is a cost-effective solution to solving our automation needs. Moreover, because of the additional funds saved by making the switch to VERSO, we are able to maintain existing services, as well as explore and satisfy new needs for the community, such as e-books and mobile technology,” said Jo-Ann LoRusso, Library Director of the Middlebury Public Library. “Not only does VERSO Express perform essential circulation and cataloguing functions, but the OPAC has powerful and modern search features.”
“The latest version of VERSO shows that Auto-Graphics is in an industry-leading position with mobile capability for both staff and patrons,” said Albert Flores, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Auto-Graphics. “All circulation, as well as configuration capability, can now be done on a tablet, and we are excited that VERSO 4 provides staff with complete autonomy to leverage the mobility of tablets for nearly all staff services We are confident that Middlebury’s highly competent staff will benefit from VERSO and their library’s relationship with A-G.”
